I just reminded of when I was on a trip to Amsterdam with my boyfriend. (for 3-4 days) It was in January in 2019 with cold weather right after new years. We were planning this to go somewhere outside of Germany to get refresh mood.
I do not want to talk about usual things of Amsterdam to tourists like red light district, weeds or coffee shop. We have also taken a look at those like other tourist.
But The Best thing I would never forget is Ribs that we had in Amsterdam, which we never expected to experience. We enjoyed it in a sports pub with cheerful and special comfy mood in the casual restaurant. For me, especially, I love that feeling of pubs. So my thing.
I guess we went to the restaurant almost everyday we stayed. Even on a day we left Amsterdam. Look at the ribs. Doesn’t it look delicious?

They do have other various menu for finger food or main meals. They even have lots kind of pancakes. Rest of time, as I said, we went to red light district or walked around the city going to cafe.
Ah, and other strong recommendations for sites, visit van gogh museum for sure. Enjoying masterpiece in original site will satisfy you giving artistic pleasure.
And Do Not miss Anne Frank House if you have ever read her history and background. Sadly, I could not go inside, because there is a reservation in advance needed months before. check related website for reservation!
After being tired from walking around the site, you better chill a little bit at cafe. It would be not bad. Then why don’t you visit this cafe that I have been to?
The Cafe, Small Talk, is quite close to Van Gogh Museum, therefore, you can consider to visit here. I recommend coffee with whip cream and pancakes in here.
