This may sounds strange, but don’t worry. You do not have to start with a self-talk in the tram, which is full of people. Try it when you are at home while cooking or hanging up the washing. Self-talks help you repeat what you have learned and test yourself. You can practice the pronunciation and even support thinking in the Germen language. It also can help those who do not like to talk in front of people.

2.Do Not Care Of Grammar Too Much

The above point being said, don’t get hung up on grammar and mechanics that you don’t understand at the moment. Simply memorize the sentence and trust that later it will make sense why it was written like that.

Learning German, as with any language, takes a leap of faith. Sometimes pieces fall into place further down the road.

Grammar can get pretty hairy and overwhelming at times for a beginning learner. Still, it may be useful to have a German speaker explain it to you, even if it doesn’t make complete sense at that moment.

Sometimes just knowing that there is a logic behind the mechanics of a sentence gives a boost of confidence.

3.Let Yourself Hear German As Much As You Can

It’s a good idea to listen to the radio, watch TV or read newspapers every day to improve your German every second of your daily life even in commuting on the train. You will be able to memorize new words and phrases more quickly this way. If you are open-minded and stay curious, you will progress very rapidly.

4.Use Media

Here are some suggestions what kind of media you can use in order to improve your German. For movies, series or videos you can start with subtitles in your first language. So you can slowly get used to the German language and as soon as you feel more comfortable, you can also change the subtitles into the foreign language.

  • Movies (e.g. Netflix oder Amazon Prime – there are special offers for students available)
  • TV-Series (e.g. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Maxdome, serienstream.to)
  • Books (e.g. http://www.bookrix.de)
  • Magazines
  • Newspapers
  • Comics (e.g. http://www.mycomics.de)

LinkedIn is an American business and employment-oriented service that operates via websites and mobile apps. Founded on December 28, 2002, and launched on May 5, 2003, it is mainly used for professional networking, including employers posting jobs and job seekers posting their CVs.

It is already too popular job searching platform globally including Germany.
This Platform would be much helpful for people who already have professional experiences or a young professional, which means it would be HARD to find simple part-time or temporary jobs.

From this website, you can make many worldwide connections that you might need for your career. Also, there is some offers that you can simply apply with your data in linkedin by one click. This saves your time for applying job offers at the same time.

Indeed is originally an American worldwide employment-related search engine for job listings launched in November 2004. It is a subsidiary of Japan’s Recruit Co. Ltd. and is co-headquartered in Austin, Texas and Stamford, Connecticut with additional offices around the world.

Slightly unlikely linkedin, on the platform, there is not only job offers for professionals or a young professional, but also few simple part-time or temporary jobs.

If Some of the best job sites are traditional job boards, like Monster. Others, like Indeed.com, allow you to search through many job boards, company career sites, associations, and other sources of job postings. You can even search directly on Google to find job opportunities.

Glassdoor is a website where current and former employees anonymously review companies. Glassdoor also allows users to anonymously submit and view salaries as well as search and apply for jobs on its platform. In 2018, the company was acquired by the Japanese firm, Recruit Holdings, for US$1.2 billion.

Character of Glassdoor is between Linkedin and Indeed. I would say that Image of this platform is more like Linkedid than Indeed. But what is the most distinct from others is that they provide data of average salary information of some career field on regional difference.

Facebook, this platform is not yet professional than other top ranked job searching website. Still, powerful social media has section of job searching as well. You may see job posts in your News Feed, but you can also find job posts by:

  • Clicking Jobs in the left column of News Feed. In Jobs on Facebook, you can search jobs, change your location or select an industry or job type. Click Subscribe in the right column to get notified about new job openings.

6.ebay Kleinanzeige

ebay Kleinanzeige is well known as a online platform for selling and buying second hand goods. It has, however, a section to find or post a job in the website.

But you better use this platform just for simple part-time or temporary jobs. For your information, in my point of view, it would be not that helping people who would like to get full-time job with professional career.

There is a lot of job offers you may check out in service, kitchen, moving, logistics (not a desk job) and entertaining field.

JOBRUF, the student agency, closes the gap between the need for competent staff and the enormous interdisciplinary expertise that distinguishes students at universities across Austria. So to speak, the job searching platform is basically for students studying in Germany or Austria.

Our focus is on arranging temporary help. Both private households (e.g. a domestic help, a language teacher or moving helpers) and companies (e.g. a working student, an office help or IT help) can find suitable applicants for almost all jobs via job portal.

InStaff provides qualified hostesses for trade fairs, major events, and events throughout Germany. Hostesses can create a profile on the online platform, so that organizers can find them there. Unlike common agencies, InStaff eliminates the unnecessary effort of preparing offers, manually managing hostesses, and direct customer acquisition.

InStaff is searching for employees for all kinds of temporary jobs that are between 30 minutes to 3 months long. Also, you can receive well paid jobs as a hostess or host and earn between 9 to 20 EUR per hour. For students of job seekers who want to be a hostess as a job, you can get more details and job offers through the link.

For most of offers from this platform, you do not worry about language. English is totally okay to work for it. German is not a must.

SNAP PHOTO – FASHION OOTD – Natural Look of Grace With Nature

“Natural Look of mine that I captured on one of usual days in Spring.

On a moment of many days I spent in Main River in Frankfurt, Germany.

I took a Simple Leggings, Black shirt and light brown Cardigan in case of cool air right after workout. Of course, for edgy point on the look, Silver colored Sport Bag was with me.
(T-Shirt and Leggings from H&M, Cardigan from Korea, Silver Bag from Primark.)

Specially, I love this bag so much, as it is so convenient to carry m belongings and always matches my casual and sporty look perfect as a point.

It was a perfect snapshot that I was luckily able to get. Natural Look with Natural Colors in flowing waves in Main River. Especially, All the Harmonized Colors made Artistic Snapshots.

In the meantime, I have been missing my family in my country so bad. If you already know it or not, I am a totally stranger and foreigner in Germany trying to get used to here completely.
But it seems to take more and more time for it, as I still need to put my HUGE effort to learn german language. Until then TOI TOI TOI!
